Bharga Café

Bharga Café takes inspiration from its menu, reimagining local cuisine through a modern yet honest design that responds to Semarang’s tropical climate. The building combines an enclosed, air-conditioned ground floor with an open-air upper level, using a high roof and cross-ventilation to maintain comfort naturally.

Its facade of reclaimed metal plates allows airflow and light while creating shifting interior patterns. With a rear entrance that guides visitors through a spatial journey, Bharga Café goes beyond dining—offering a sustainable, culturally rooted architectural experience where food, space, and climate are seamlessly connected.
